Bio |
My name is Dr. Carolyn Lindstrom. I have been in education for 31 years. I have taught K-12 general education, been a private school administrator and now a teacher for students with Moderate/Severe disabilities. I have been teaching Special Education for 14 years.
Through my career, I have learned that all students can learn, but we have to be prepared to teach them. My goal is to help all teachers become prepared to teach ALL students. My passion is Inclusion – providing access to curriculum to ALL students. Creating opportunities for all students to work together, regardless of disabilities or other barriers.
I present, both nationally and internationally, on Inclusion. I co-authored a book about teaching students with disabilities in an inclusive setting. I provide training to teachers and administrators on Inclusion. I am an adjunct professor, teaching Credential Candidates and Interns in Inclusion, Assessment, and Methods.
Personally – I have been married 30 years, I have 2 boys (24/21) and 2 cats.
