This course is intended for all food services workers including supervisors, managers, cooks, front line staff, and cashiers. The course in part meet the 4 hour training requirement for all food service workers mandated by United States Department of Agriculture. Participants will review the meal planning and reimbursable meal requirements of the Child Nutrition Department.

Providing meal access and nutritious reimbursable meals to all eligible students is a critical component of student success. This course will provide required meal planning and reimbursable meal training to food service staff and includes assessments and a certificate of completion that employees can keep on file with human resources. This course meets in part the United States Department of Agriculture training requirements for food service workers.
This course is intended for individuals involved in all levels providing reimbursable meals to students participating in the United States Department of Agriculture Child Nutrition Programs.
